Accessibility
Many of the people we help are in their seventies, eighties and nineties — so this website was built for real people first, not just to pass tests.
What we’ve built in
- Large, readable text — and you can zoom freely; we never disable pinch-to-zoom.
- High contrast — text and buttons meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast standards.
- Full keyboard support — everything works without a mouse, with a clearly visible focus outline and a skip-to-content link.
- Calm by default — if your device asks for reduced motion, animations simply don’t play.
- Clear forms — every field has a visible label, and big, easy tap targets.
- Print-friendly pages — checklists and service pages print cleanly if you prefer paper.
How we check
Every page is tested with automated accessibility tools (axe) and audited against WCAG 2.1 AA. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought — and it’s re-checked whenever the site changes.
